What surprised me is how much the rectangular cut changes the energy of the whole earring. round drops feel sweet and a little expected — this little baguette shape leans architectural. it sits below my lobe like a tiny pendant, very vertical, very clean. the gold huggie above it is so minimal it almost reads as just a connector, letting the stone be the whole point.
