I took a chance on these and so far so good. Been wearing them on and off for about three weeks now with zero irritation. The metal feels smooth to the touch, not rough or sharp anywhere around the hinge. The surface has a nice polished finish that still looks the same as day one — no weird discoloration or dullness yet.

So I ordered these on kind of a whim — I'd been looking for a pair of simple gold huggies that didn't look cheap but also wouldn't make me cry if I lost one at the gym. So I bought it. First thing I noticed putting them on: the hinge has a nice click to it. They don't feel flimsy. The texture is this sort of organic thing — it's subtle enough that you don't notice it from far away, but up close it gives them some personality compared to your basic plain huggies.
